Kate Bull, Clinical Director

Kate has specialised in neurological physiotherapy since 2001. She has worked in the community helping people with neurological conditions for several years and has strong connections with other private and NHS services and professionals supporting people to live at home.


She spent fifteen years at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, delivering specialist physiotherapy services on the acute hospital wards as well as in the MS Walking, Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), Orthotics, and MND clinics. Earlier in her career, she held positions at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Putney and the Royal London Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of complex neurological conditions.

Kate has a broad range of treatment skills and experience to enhance the care she provides to her clients. She has a specialist interest in FES and neuro-orthotics for walking and is our FES service lead. She has extensive experience in the treatment of dizziness and reduced balance due to central and peripheral cause and was a committee member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Vestibular Rehabilitation


She is a certified Pilates instructor and was as the UK course instructor for APPI Neuro Pilates for 6 years and runs a weekly Neuro Pilates class for the charity LEGS in Wandsworth. Kate has completed advanced-level Bobath training and studied the PD Warrior programme for Parkinson’s. She has contributed professionally to Bridges, a self-management programme for people with neuromuscular conditions. She volunteers as a support group facilitator and is a Trustee for Southwest London Headway.
